    Book details

Chief executive Leon King is a narcissistic, modern-day Scrooge figure. He sits at the top of a rapidly failing company, hated and feared by his management team who bear the brunt of his blame, anger and daily threats. His lack of leadership is plainly obvious to everyone except himself, and morale is at an all-time low...but no one can stop the downward spiral. That is, until the working lives of King and his colleagues are radically changed with the appearance of Jason Hand, a shaman disguised as a management consultant, who offers a powerful new paradigm to help renew this flagging corporation and the people within it. The Corporate Shaman is a magical story with practical application in the real world. As with bestsellers such as Who Moved My Cheese and The One Minute Manager, Whiteley's book is set to become a business fable of cult status. Includes foreword by Ken Blanchard.

"Useful advice and pointers...the style follows a different formula to many business books offering the clues to success" -- Business Age, March 2002 --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

This is the second book written by Charlie Jackson, the first one is The Guardian Angel.I enjoyed reading both books. There are great insights on how to adopt a different approach to running a business in order to create more "engaging and inspiring places in which to work".The narrative is very smooth and I highly reccommend reading them.
